Snow Squalls & Strong Winds Today

First and foremost, the reason why I have not updated recently is because my beautiful son Matthew Joshua Ramsdell was born yesterday January 27th, at 1:39PM, he is 6 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long.

Champlain Valley Weather Discussion:
Today snow continues, the most concentrated area is in Northern New York where 6-12 inches of snow is possible from lake effect snow, and a storm system forming over the New England states, combined with an arctic cold front moving through. The fron will cause strong winds, and very heavy snow squalls for everyone throughout the day as the arctic cold front progresses east. Temperatures will also drop rapidly behind the front. In the snow squalls expect visibilities to drop to near zero with blowing and drifting snow due to wind gusts up to 35MPH. More to come later.
